Camber Kit
I was wondering if anybody on here could install a front camber kit on my car or at least help me, I will negotiate pay with you. It is a 98 civic, the rear is fine but I just ate my front set of tires. I also wanted to know what camber kit I should go with. I need this done fairly soon. I am just trying to save a few bucks from taking it somewhere. Thanks ahead of time for your guys' help.

you can tell the front wheels and tires are angled. The inside edge of the tires were completely wore down.

Have you just had it aligned? What was the toe at?
If you can even see a 1/4 inch of toe in/out (which is quite a bit), you have really good eyesight.

It hasn't been aligned in a while. The inside of the tires on the front were down to the wires from about 4-5 months of driving. How do you adjust the toe??

You adjust toe by spinning the outer tie rods in and out. I don't remember if I loosened 2 nuts or just one....it has been a little bit.
If you have carpenter plumb bobs, some free time, and flat ground you can adjust toe pretty close. Thats what I did with mine and I don't have too much noticable wear over a year of daily driving.

Agreed. Toe is what is eating your tires, not camber. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on a camber kit, just get an alignment. But if you have to have one, shoot me a PM. I can install it for you.5thgen;166622 wrote:I would check your toe before I went looking to correct camber.
