You could also just buy a new ball joint/end link and fix the problem so you don't have to deal with it again.

if i have a spinning balljoint i bust out a 2x4 block and a jack. phate seen it, hasnt failed me yet.

my impactzaps them off as well. take a prybar and wedge it in between the two pieces to put pressure on the joint and it will come off every time
