Rear strut 96-00 civic

Will any rear strut off any other honda/Acura fit on a 96 civic besides a 96-00 civc strut? I just pulled a strut off a 94 civic and the bottem does not fit up right in the junk yard it looked like it would work but i was wrong

i believe the 94-01 integra and 92-95 civic rear struts are spaced the same. the 96-00 are a little narrower to my knowledge.

theyll work fine if you just tighten them down or get fatty washers, alot of companies make lower forks to the DC/EG size and include washers for EK applications, hit up your local hardware store
