car already has goldline springs, and i am gonna prob keep them, i was just wanting a stiffer ride. how good are goldline springs? i hear they perform better than eibach. i think his ride was bumpy cus it had 13 inch wheels with big sidewalls, prob not the right tire pressure... he is on this site.. sure the car is also, was the ride of the month on stlsr i think...

In all seriousness for the topic creator: The bouncy ride you felt = blown struts. Your car shouldn't be bouncing at all. If you are going kinda fast on an on-ramp or a curve, then hit a dip, uneven pavement, good size bumps, or whatever, you'll bounce your ass right into the ditch... or into oncoming traffic and kill a grandma.

Take riskytypes advice and look into getting a full coilover setup. The springs and dampers will be properly matched to one another, and your car will actually handle well. Another option would be to get something like H&R Race springs (or something similar) and pair them with QUALITY struts like AGX, Illuminas, or Koni. If you dump your car on cheap struts, you will blow the struts really fast and risk bouncing yourself into a wreck.

i have full coilovers and my car is bouncy, there is the Cadillac motor-boating kind of bounce and the Full coilover high spring rate bounce.

well generally a sleeve type coilover will use a rediculously high spring rate wich is also bad unless you use a shock/strut that can handle it like agx's or illuminas which are adjustable dampning, honestly, save your money and buy a set of full coliovers, it will be way better in the long run and you will be much happier being able to set your ride height where you want it

 what about bricks?

seriously though there is no cheap way to lower a car correctly, but bouncy ride means blown shocks..
