So basically when I have some money this summer I am going to do some suspension.
My two options are:
1) Keep my ground control setup, except throw on some koni yellows and extended top hats.
2) Pick up a set of Function 2 coilovers
Im just looking for opinions/ resoning behind it.
Thanks

1. it'll be cheaper, and is a very badass set-up.

The way I figured it out the price in the two would be very similar
Tell me if I'm missing something:
1) 4 koni yellows $500-550, GC Extended tophats $240
2) F2 coilovers $750

u cant go with the konis only because the current gc that are on your car are for stock shocks or tockio to different part number but if they are the gc for the konis then go with the konis they are rebuildable and are awesome i ran mine for 4 years never a promblem and u do not need the extened top hats if u put them on you wont be able to go as low as u currently are
hear is a link to the different gc they are several different models that are made the one that is made for konis and konis only has a different model number then the one that is made for stock shocks so u need to find out the model number of the ones u currently have.

i personally have Function and Form Type I's and i LOVE the spring rate that they have. the Type II's you can get custom SWIFT springs for some extra $$. If i could do it all over again, i would have to say i should have waited for the Type II's. They fixed all the problems from Type I's. They are a great company to deal with. A word of advice, call them personally and order them, they got mine out the door for $800 shipped. normally ep3's cost more due to the fronts having the camber plates up front so i saw this as a great price.

or maybe you should get full Koni coilovers, herd nothing but good things about them as well, but not cheap, only $1200, last time I checked.

Well if i am going to get the fuction II's do you guys have a recomended spring rate, I really dont have a clue what I would need.
I possibly remember reading something along the lines of having different spring rates in the front vs. the rear.

i would say stick with the spring rates they ahve on them. the SWIFT springs are great, but i would say that if you arent sure what rate you want, stick with the stockers then further down the road order a set to your liking.00gsr;100868 wrote:Well if i am going to get the fuction II's do you guys have a recomended spring rate, I really dont have a clue what I would need.
