CEL for bad Cat.

The CEL keeps comind on for a bad cat and i've already done the defoulers. Could i have the ECU moded so it wont through a CEL?

If you are affected by the Gateway Clean Air Act, I'd just fix it right. If they do an inspection and see the emissions system modified or don't get a successful OBD readiness check, you could actually get in trouble. Cheapest fix would be to have an aftermarket converter installed. Keep in mind that too small of a converter won't give you enough front to rear O2 differential and it will continue to throw the light.

Seems like the Preludes are really picky when it comes to the catalyst efficiency code...

i have an aftermarket cat on there already ive had it maybe 4 months. i uped the pipe to 2 inch and put a highflow cat so i was wondering what do i need to do to get to keep the light off?

get a oem cat. only way to get rid of the code.
