yeah so, in my haste to get things done yesterday at some point the msd coil slid off of where i had it sitting and grounded out, then when i went to start it, the blk/yel wire in the distributor burnt up made a lot of smoke and smelled bad nothing really too bad replaced the wire and i was back in business. the harness wasnt damaged, nor was anything else, thats what i get for being in a hurry. i have since rewired the coil and ran a new signal wire out of the distributor to the oem plug then to the external coil. so there arent any random wires coming out of the distributor cap, like before. its throwing a code 7 tps and code 15 ignition output signal, which is no doubt why its sounds the way it does when it starts. i have checked and rechecked the harness and everything is correct, so it needs a different tps and the code 15 is most likely from a bad ignitor.
