vtec head

My friend wants to put a b16 VTEC head on his d16. its a stock 1997 civic 4 door and the head is from a 1999 civic si. He wants to know if he needs a new wiring harness for the vtec and what else. like a vtec selenoid, oil pressure sender, and wiring.

Dude. Let me just explain a little to you before everyone flames. Which they wont, because this thread is locked now.

B16 - the "B" means that its DOHC - Dual Over Head Cam.
D16 - the "D" means that its SOHC - Single Over Head Cam.

There is literally no way for this to work. Hope we helped.
