08 Civic Si rims on base rsx-need spacers

Post by sullyman86 »

I recently bought some civic si rims for my base model rsx but i need a spacer for the front wheels to work. I think only a 3mm spacer is needed but if anyone could let me know if i am correct that would be great. I also am not sure if i need those extended lug nuts or not. I'll post some pics as soon as i get the wheels on.

If that's the case, you'll need a 6mm wheel spacer to regain the factory clearance. At that point, you want to run extended wheel studs and open ended lug nuts.

Just be sure its the right kind of lug, typically aftermarket lugs are not reccomended for OEM wheels bc of the way it seats. (conical seat, ball seat, or flat)

Correct. Sorry, I should have been more specific about that.
