that is if there is anyone who uses this part of the forums with an RSX :)

Yea I actually just did that...

So I find out that these things burn oil like crazy... thats no good

5-30 seems to be my best bet for least oil consumption.

They only burn oil if you get one that hasn't been taken care of or don't take care of it. Use 5W-20 Mobil Clean 7500, Castrol Syntec Blend or Valvoline Durablend and change your oil between 3,000 to 3,750 miles. If you use 5W-30, your fuel economy will slightly decrease.

Extra virgin olive oil
2008 Chevy Slobalt
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

Yes I own 2 slow red chick cars & 1 real car!

I was just reading on clubrsx and there were many who claimed low mileage cars burning up to a quart within 2,000 miles.. Is that true, i have no clue. My 99 integra didnt burn any oil at 240,000 miles.

My conclusion is to run 5-30 with a 5th of vodka

I do oil changes on 15+ K20/K24s a week. They only consume oil if they aren't maintained properly.

Yea, your probably right I honestly know nothing about K series engines as it is :)

So by saying "they only consume oil if they arent maintained properly" you mean that they are run hard? no tunes ups? late oil changes? wrong oil?

I only ask because Im not sure what improper maintenance can cause an engine with 30k-100k miles to burn oil other than running the crap out of it.

thanks for the imput

here is a couple of threads mixed with of course stupid imput and interesting imput in regards to oil and oil consumption:
