redline stopped working?!

im not saying i do im just challenging what is the standerd to overcome and better the technology that has alowed hondas and imports alike to step with the crowds of the v8s

Do you have any engine codes showing up?

Can you log everything the ecu sees and post it up?

Maybe it thinks it is under a ftl / fts point.....I'm not sure.

Unless the imports have v8s.....the potential won't be that of a v8.

Cannot replace displacement....period. Whatever you can do to make a 4 cylinder more effecient......guess what, you can probably do it to a v8.

And the piston speed of a ls-vtec at 9000rpm is pretty close to that of a gsx-r 1000 at 14,000rpm. RPM isn't everything.

full throttle launch / full throttle shift

Or cold rev limit options...etc. Something that would trigger the rev limit program wise.

oh, okay. well i set my rev limiter to 5k and it still didnt work. i will check those options soon and see what happens.
