and all of this talking and bsing still isnt helping him with his problem i have no idea so any guesses

Why the hell does he rev to 11k I don't even rev that high

Edit: he must have a spoon engine

idk it pulls all the way up there tho but why not its ballanced its a vtec motor so its got larger rod bolts and mabey even arps but if a 1000cc bike can rev and make efficient power to 15k why cant a honda civic
turbo lag psh? boost is only a down shift away
da integra now n/a... ls vtec 12-1 comp "daily"

Cause it doesn't make power up there? The motor wasn't built for that if it was it'd have an 11k redline from the factory like the bikes do. The motor in the civic is also bigger so it can't do it as easily, the head can't flow that much the cams can't do it the rotating mass inside the block itself is a ticking time bomb.

ok what makes the honda brand motercycles ie 1000cc better to the point to where it makes power to those kinda extremes

the b16 is an rev happy motor from the factory due in part that it is an oversquare design so in essence it could have every ability to rev to 15k the problem seems to be with the valve terrain and cams the reason they dont rev that high from the factory is you would have to compensate torque for hp and that dose not make for an economy based sport compact. so in thery proper ballancing blueprinting cam design ect... you could make a b16 rev just like there 1000cc counterparts

please stop talking. a thing called rotating mass also comes into play. if they had the ability to rev that high...people would do it.

Do some research. Youre a fucking retard if you think you make horsepower at 11,000 rpm without some crazy compression, or some sort of forced induction. (read: cylinder pressure)

well like i said if its ballanced it would be like spinning a top where its own rotating mass would have little ill effect

well yeah along with any na build to incrasse power you have to increase volumetric efficincy to raise the torque curve to a higher rpm also with direct relation to the airflow to the grind of the cams
