New ECU problem

Post by wanaboostDC2 »

I just replaced my p72 in my gsr with a p28 that was chipped by speed innovations(internet company). Now my cars idle is screwed up when its cold. It goes up and down between 1500 and 2000 but when its warmed up the idle goes down to 900 and its good then.
Anyone have any idea what i can do to fix this besides putting my old ECU back in?

Did you readjust your idle? IE: unplug iacv when car is warm, Try to get idle adjusted with the idle bleed screw. If you can not get the idle high or low enough, put the idle bleed screw in about its mid point. Then, adjust the stop screw until it idles correctly. Turn car off then key back on but don't start. Check TPS voltage and make sure it's still in range. Plug IACV back in and restart car.
