Tune, ecu, tranny.....idk

oooook. my friends r telling me that my car should be a little bit quicker and im keeping up with them untill i shift, then they just smoke me....and there saying that i either have the wrong tranny in my car, ecu w/e...idk much about cars but like anyone else who has my problem...i dont like losing or being slow..my car also redlines at 5500 and there saying it should b higher then that....my friends tellin me he's gonna take me to adrenaline...but i heard they dont know how to tune hondas for shit....idk if im wrong or not...but can anyone help me out?? as far as wat my problem is and/or wat i can do

Cant really help you if we dont know what motor, transmission, ecu you are using.

d15b.....the lil sticker on the tranny says y8...idk if that means anything(im sure it does, but idk)...and idk the ecu bc the guy i bought this from he swapped this motor in for wat reason idk y lol

Is there anything done to it? Why do you think you need a tune? And what kind of cars do your friends have?

Is it a d15b? or like a d15b6? Cuz if its the b6, thats a HF motor, and does redline at 5500. Look at your ecu to find what it says on it. Are you obd1?

mmm..aftermarket headers, crap tho..idk bout exhaust cause ive never seen under the car..and i dont think i need a tune...my friend is telling me i might need a tune or something...IDK lol!!!

one drives a 200sx ser, and other drives a old beater mr2 lol..they both know more about cars then i do..and one went to school to work on cars and shit...sooo im guessing they would know more then me lol

ill go check rite now.....and where can i find my ecu at?! and idk if im obd1 or not...idk how to check for that kinda stuff...like i said..i dont know to much bout cars, but thats y im here..to learn

how about you find out what the motor is by..... reading the stamp on the MOTOR...
