Nooo, you do not have to be a dealer to tune it..you have to be a dealer to distributie it (obviously) and install it, I believe.

lowerperf is now an authorized dealer/tuner of hondata product's...thats where ill be taking mine here shortly

without the software aka being a dealer you cant tune it'

took my car to loweperf before they were a hondata dealer and couldnt do anything except check the a/f with a sniffer on the dyno'

that is correct tried to plug into mine the other day with the laptop and software i had downloaded from hondata but without the dealer codes to turn on the datalogging features and enable different functions can't tune it, as soon as you plug in it freezes the laptop.

Depends on what version you have supposedly but according to hondata all you have to do is download their software and hook up and go, but thats not true in my case at least i have the s200 stuff.

I see...I'm talking about Hondata KPro..you download KManager, plug in a laptop via USB to a KPro'ed ECU and datalogging you go.

To be able to modify S100/S200, pretty sure you have to have ROM Editor...
