Crome Chip, buy from?

Post by B16aRS »

I am looking for the chip to put in my OBD1 ECU. It is the P30. The chip i want is the one where u can plug the USB link into and hook it up to my mac. If someone could point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it.

Only thing you can do with USB and Crome on the ECU is datalog. If you want real time change, Hondata S300 comes to mind first....

www.moates.net or www.phearable.net
S300 is not much more than an emulator like the ostrich is, both allow real-time changes. You have to get Crome Pro to datalog with Crome.

If you buy Crome Pro DO NOT buy it from John Cui, the guy that made it. He is absolutely USELESS for support after the sale (getting new reg string for my new laptop; still don't have it after 7 MONTHS). I recommend Phearable if you buy as he is on top of it for support.

Really, I got mine the next day! John has emailed me back and forth a couple times and never seems to be far from the computer.

Maybe you have a different e mail addy then. I know that the people on PGMFI have been having problems getting him, too. I like Crome Pro but my old POS Compaq about has the monitor falling off. I wanted a regstring for my Dell that I use to tune GM's and it's been a while and he never replied. 3 or 4 e mails.

Also, I meant Xenocron, not Phearable.
