Hmm-why this smoke?

Ok, so it had been like 2-3 weeks since i last drove my RSX-S. I started it up yesterday and a ton of white smoke came out at startup. WTF? THe car has 12k miles on it. Please tell me why this car did this.

Well, i mean a pretty nice sized cloud of white smoke came out for about 3 seconds, then went away. What caused this? I mean at 12k miles, this thing should not be burning oil.

Condensation? From it sitting maybe it had water in the exhaust? I dunno though.

It only did it that one time. It was just strange. So maybe it was condensation or just a lack of any oil in the engine at startup.

Things have been rough lately-I moved over to IL and things have been crazy.

WHAT??? you moved on us??? lol. Just kidding man. and as far as the smoke I think that may just be condesation, did it start right up or did it have to turn over a few times before it started and was there any hesitation after it started kinda like stumbling?

It was probably caused,by ring seal.Since it has been siting that long the rings take a few seconds to seal back up.
