o2 sensor question

ok i swapped a b18b into my 97 coupe and im using an obd1 ecu. will it look for the upper or lower o2 sensor?

It will only look for the first O2 sensor before the catalytic converter. It will not look for or use the secondary one behind the cat. You can either leave it in there and unhook it or pull it out and plug the hole
