It's either $600 now, or more for the new motor later.
+1 this man speaks from experience, spend the extra money to get it tuned right upfront and save yourself a lot of headaches.

Can you provide datalogs? and possibly the software? We could post the logs and post the changes, that way you and others could learn something from it.

I'm talking to high tuned performance in Arnold - They'll probably be the ones who do it.

And it's not that I wouldn't spend the $600 - it's that I shouldn't have to spend $600 to tune a base map on a simple piggyback setup. Especially when I know high-tuned performance will do it for $200. It's dumb to pay more for the same thing. I'm not stubborn - just trying to work with the money I have at my disposal - I can't make $200 turn into $600 - if I could, I wouldn't own a Scion.

And what's with the "scion owners are this and that?" I don't say shit about Honda owners - I used to be around them all the time, and I know exactly how most of them can be, but it's stupid to generalize, so just because you've met some dumb fucking scion owners, don't assume I'm the same way - I make my car the way it is, not the other way around. If I were stubborn, I wouldn't be asking you guys for help. I am, however, silly but that's a different story.

Here's a chart of a 45mph cruise in 4th gear, then dropping it into 3rd and taking it to about 5500rpms...

If you need a specific chart, let me know and I'll get one posted.

I appreciate all the help, but do me a favor and chill with the generalizing - I'm not Rozz. I trust you guys know enough about what you're doing to ask for help. If I had a honda, do you think I'd be any different of a person?

I'm trying to be cool about everything, cause I'm on your site and I honestly figured you guys know a little something about cars. I just figure if I respect you guys and your knowledge of cars, you could respect me a little bit - at least to my face.

That's what we need. But we do need the wideband output posted with it. Try to let the engine fully warm up. then let it idle for about 15 seconds. then the same thing for 1500 rpm 2000 rpm 2500 rpm 3000 rpm and 3500 rpm. Hold each rpm for about 15 seconds. If you can't log for this long of time. just split it up into different groups. We car get stated with this and move to the other things later.
If you could give us Some more Info on the car, injector size, other mods?

I'm working on hooking up my wideband to the e-manage so I can integrate that readout too.

stock injectors are 370cc - I have nology hotwires and a stock exhaust for now. Nothing else that seems like it would impact my tune all that much - no throttle body or ported head or anything like that.

Once I get the wideband hooked up to the e-manage, I'm sure it will all make a little more sense to me.
