Is this wiring normal? (ECU Harness)

I took apart the black plastic wire cover to track down a short (getting +12 to IACV) and I found this. I don't know if these splices and shit are normal (stock) or if the previous owner totally demolish the wiring. Any help is appreciated.

um looks like someone hacked it did you try to trace them to see where they go?

looks normal to me, check another car you will see what i mean, the fact that it crimped instead of soldered is a dead give away that its factory believe me i have had more than one ecu harness apart.

Honestly it looks like those few wires were hacked into and the best way to do it is see what there for like get the ecu pinout for the car, I know its not the same car but Cales obd-1 civic has no splices in it or anything like that. Could be factory but honestly I couldnt tell ya, like I said finding the ecu pinout and seeing what wire is what might help.
