First off I never heard you couldn't run a p28 on a D15b vtec, for one its the same motor as the D16z6 just 1.5 instead of 1.6 and 5 more hp then the 1.6, there both obd-1 and you can use a 4 wire o2 sensor from a z6 so honestly you have me highly confused seeing as how my buddy had one and it ran perfectly fine with the p28 and also met a few people running those motors with the p28 so in anycase I assume your wrong.
I mean clearly the vtec kicks in the same and redlines the same on both motors, they use the same sensors and honestly you dont have to change intake manifold or exhaust since there the same as the z6 so please with all curiosity enlighten me on this subject.

You would still need tuning. I've had an SAFC-II before and they're pretty much a waste of money IMO. They're just a ricer light show that lets you change when VTEC comes on, which you can't just turn on at any RPM. Just get Hondata or Neptune, tune it, and be done with it.dclduke;31769 wrote:what about the stock ecu with a vafc???
