you cannot run a non chipped p28 on a d15b vtec unless you use a USDM intake manifold and 4 wire o2 sensor... if u plan on using a p28 u must chip it and disable the o2 heater and 1 other sensor (i think) or you will throw a CEL

First off, I don't know jack about ecu's. If I wanted to use the d15b intake manifold and a z6 oxygen sensor, can I do it if the ecu is chipped or is it one way or the other? Also, after it is chipped, is it easier to just have it tuned because it currently has a greddy blue piece of crap attached to it.

if the ecu is chipped you can do damn near anything you want... once its chipped, yes it is easy to get tuned... or if u feel like learning about it, its easy to tune yourself if u have the right equipment... otherwise, if u are just throwing a d15b in ur car and u dont feel like screwing with anything and you arent going to ever do any major power adders, just find a p08 ecu...

if no power adders are getting put on the engine and u chip a p28, u can just find a d15b basemap on pgmfi.org and burn that to the chip and into the ecu... no tuning required...

It already has/had a power adder(turbo). Hence the greddy blue box. I want to be able to tune it but I have no idea how to go about it and don't want to spend a shit load of money on chip burning crap.

chip buring/modifying the stock ecu is by far the least cost effective route to go.
