Wiring for Swap

Post by bildo16 »

Let me start off by stating that i am a compitent mechanic, i do it all day for money. A friend of mine is swapping a b18(a i believe) into her crx, let me rephrase that, im swapping it. the question i have is the wiring. what is necessary? i browsed over ry wire's website and found thishttp://rywire.com/store/8891-crxcivic-sihfex-b18a-obd1-p-78.html?osCsid=1bc0032a95703d24b6c177b28317a293 how helpful with this be? is this going to be a wiring nightmare? will the axles fromt he integra(da) work? or will we have to get them elsewhere? and finally motor mounts, does anyone besides hasport make a decent setup for a little less cash? tia

i believe it is obd 1, its from a 92. the "ry wire" kit is cheap, but could i just use all of the integra's wiring in place of the crx's, also, what ecu am i going to need. the ecu from the donor car is for an auto, i need one for a manual. anyone have one?

use an obd0 pr4 and an obd0 b18a1 distributor they are pretty easy to come by, as for wiring the car is an hf crx correct? if so its plug and play worst thing you may have to do is lengthen some wires or swap some plugs around no special wiring harnesses are needed and if you cant do wiring ill help ya out im a wiz with a soldering iron...lol
