Well, its already been suggested but the cheapest (not the safest) way to make a car faster is definitely nitrous. About $700 can get you started with a wet kit from good companies such as Nitrous Express. After that though, plan on spending another $200-300 in random accessories.
With your car being an auto, it would be alot of fun on like a 50 shot but I wouldn't go more than that. Stock autos don't really last long on 75 shots.
lol Hope you have a warranty.

My biggest advice to you, since you are new, is to buy things with this in mind: quality>quantity. If you are buying parts for your car, buy good parts. Dont buy cheap shit. Theres a huge difference in getting good deals on high quality products and buying cheap junk on eBay. So, give your car a little bit of flare with nice stuff. You'll feel alot more satisfied with your car than you would if you see a car built by eBay, APC, and SS Autochrome every time you look at it. No one will ever give you kudos for having a huge parts list filled with crap. Its the few nicer products that make your car stand out.
Just my $.02. :icon_biggrin:

Good luck man!

Wow people he said "cheap". I think basic flow upgrades would help. Good intake will cost around $300. Injen and ARC have pretty good designed products for RSXs. A good exhaust would bring good power gains. Throttle body spacer $70. Upgraded spark plugs and wires. Grounding kit. Fuel pump and injectors would cost you around $600 but combine that with a k-pro ecu upgrade and you will have ur base in the 200hp range. I say thats too much to put into a non S, auto. I say just save up and buy a new car. But a real good tip is, you shouldn't buy an upgrade because its cheap. pay more money for a brand name quality part then to waste it on ebay items.
