If you're wanting to use that transmission in your '96-'00 Civic, it's not going to work.

You'll need a B18 transmission from a car with a hydraulic operated clutch, rather then cable. Your cheapest and best route would be to use a transmission from any '94-'01 Acura Integra LS/RS/GS.

I don't know whatv car you are puttin it in, but 88-91 civics are cable trans,
86-89, 90-93 integras are cable. 92-00 civics and 94-01 integras are all hydraulic trans, but there are companies that makes conversion kits for everthing you wanna do including cable to hydro kit, and hydro to cable kits
I'm gon hurt some feelin's this summer

why in the hell would you do that? might as well just get an LS transmission thats basically the same gear ratio as the ex/si d series trans, unless for some reason you would want even longer gears which makes absolutely no sense

Why on earth would you suggest that to someone obviously on budget? It's more expensive then buying a GSR or B16 transmission.

Bisimoto has made them. I don't know if they ever made them available to the public. They were made for people who have a built D-Series transmission and don't want to get rid of it when they do a B-Series swap.

This thread is full of lack of research and stupid ideas.

Thank God a few people in here have their head on straight.
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!
