I am trying to replace by CV boots because they are torn, but I am having some trouble. Do I need to pull the axle out of the transmition to put the now boot on.(I have a feeling the ansver is yes). If so, I know I need drain the tranny fluid, but is there anything else? If anyone is willing to come over and give me a hand with this I would be more than happy to throw you some cash or whatever.
Thank you,

HELP! CV boot replacement
If you're wanting them from the dealer, I can get you new ones for around $270 each or remanufactured ones for $130 each. I suggest using ones from an auto parts store as everyone else said, which run from $50-$70 each and have a lifetime warranty. Driveshafts are the only non-OEM Honda replacement part I'll ever suggest anyone to buy.muha22752;263201 wrote:dam ya thats what I was afraid of. Well that is probably what I will do. If you need help installing new ones, send me a PM and I'll come give you a hand.
