2 questions bout my trans

Ok i have a d16y8 first question what kinda trans do i have its a manual just dont know what kind and my second question is whats wrong with it if everytime i push the clutch in i hear this click and i just replaced my slave cylinder so what now??

Does the noise change with engine speed? And why did you replace the slace cylinder in the first place? And most likely you have an S40 trans, but look on the engine side of the trans right below the upper radiator hose to make sure.

well lets just say when i replaced the slave cylinder it just completely fell apart when i took it off and i mean COMPLETELY ...i found out its an s40 and im buying a new(er) s40 due to the fact that when i shift into 4th and 5th i hear a whining sound which i believe is either the syncro hubs or springs for
4th and 5th or a bad input shaft bearing not sure but my vss wire also snapped so thats another thing im getting with the new(er) s40
