LS or Gsr tranny????
I recently picked up a 90 DA teg and am in the works of swapping my GSR motor into it...just wondering if I should keep the LS tranny or buy the Hasport conversion kit and use the GSR tranny....any pros/cons to using either?....any info/experiences would be appreciated Thanx

Just use the GSR transmission. IMO, there's no point in doing the swap if you're just going to but the wrong transmission on it.

If you get a cable trans, don't waste your money on the single letter-1 transmissions. ONLY a YS1 is worth a crap at all. 92-93 Integras got them. Only way to tell if it's an LS or GSR (92-3 GSR trans has same ratios as hydro B16 except for an even shorter 5th on some) is to turn everything and count revolutions to determine gear ratios. Other option is to get a YS1 case and put hydro internals in it. DO NOT waste your money on the POS cable to hydro conversion kit from Hasport. It sucks. Sujen1 sells a nice kit that actually converts to hydro in an EF. You put the master cylinder in the car on the clutch pedal. That setup is worth the money at about $180. You would still either need a cable gear case side with hydro clutch case side or the hydro trans in cable car trans mount.
