Clutch problem

Post by muha22752 »

i first noticed this problem on friday morning, i got in my car to go to work and the clutch inguaged lower than normal, it was 5am so i didnt think anything of it at the time. Then when i was leaving work the clutch inguaged like an inch off the floor, and i knew that wasnt right.I checked the fluid when i got home and it was empty. I figured wow that was an easy fix, I later discovered there is a leak in some of the plumbing going form the slave cylinder to the master. well i found the leak and tried to remove the leaking part of the hose or plumbing what ever its called, but i was unable to remove it, i assume that this is because this particular piece wasn't removed sense it was instaled at the factory. I am considering taking it to the dealership and making them fuck w/ it. but i dont want to pay. Any adivice or input would be great.

Thanks for the help!

Clutch problem

It is possible to remove the entire hardline and rubber line that connects the master cylinder to the slave cylinder. Many places make aftermarket stainless steel braided clutch lines that work great. Buy one, replace your line and adjust your clutch pedal and you'll be set. Here's a link to one for you.
