LSD swap

Could you take a LSD from a d-series hydro tranny and put it into a 88-91 d-series cable tranny? havent found anything on it and I believe its a factory LSD.

just convert the 88-91 civic/crx to hydro all the parts are online it probly would be less of a hassle

I dont wanna convert to hydro because thats more money and I already have all the parts for a cable auto to maual.

i dont see why not the factory lsd in the b series ys1 is the same as a phantom grip lsd its a pain tho lil tip get a 1/8 in punch and to compress the lsd use a cheep overhead valve spring compressor from autozone to compress the lsd then use the punch and a hammer to get it back in ive done it and it works

my guess would be yes it would work, as long as you had the right carrier bearings on it.
