Ebay short shifter (worth it or not)

Tim/b16aRs has an ebay shifter on his teg... he likes it from what i know. the only down side is that they dont come with bearings, so the shifts are not as smooth as a high dollar shifter. i have one for my car that massacre sold me for 10 bucks and had ABEC 9 bearing put in it. i have yet to install it but he said it worked good for him.

i have also driven tims car. seeing as i dont have a short shifter installed on my teg i had trouble driving it because the throws were so short compared to a stock shifter, but it felt solid to me.

many many many people use these on teamintegra.com and i have yet to hear a horror story about them.

in summation, i say worth the 15 bucks to try it out.

Is that sarcasm?

What's the point of the heavy knob?

nope, no sarcasm. a heavy shift knob like a skunk2/blox, acts like a counter weight on your shifter.

"you use sarcasm on your monkey friends! You do NOT do it to me!!"

I use to have a short shifta....
oem integra is better in my opinion.

And I will give someone $50 if they prove, with accurate information, that a short shifter is quicker than an oem integra shifter.
