5th gear grinds

on my h22 transmission. I have plenty of fluid in the transmission. when i pump my clutch a few times before i shift into 5th it won't grind. and when the rpm's are dropping and i throw it into 5th sometimes it will grind. so i was just asking on people's opinions about the problem I am having with my transmission

Fluid? you mean gear oil/lube correct? Not like ATF?
I run the heavy duty thick crap in mine because I'm to lazy to replace my axle seals

there is no ATF btw. but good thinkin

im just gonna throw this out there.... but ive had the same problem on my teg.... and it was the slave cylinder.... replace and shifts as new!

syncro spring and possibly sleeve need replaced..and im the man to do it. got some right here actually.

if it was some sort of problem with the slave cylinder, clutch, fluid, etc it would do it in every gear...so why just 5th?

i was thinkin the slave cylinder as well. some times it shifts into 5th with no grind and then maybe the next time i shift into 5th it will grind.

i hope not. cuz i don't have another transmission to swap it out with.
the last transmission in there was weird. it wouldn't go into 1st unless your on a hill facing up. it also can't or grind into some other gear. i can't remember right now
