not an ls tranny with a 26" tall tire.

Gsr / B16 tranny depending on trap speed. Or use a 24" slick with an ls tranny with a 130+ trap.

the ls trans doesnt belong on anything besides a daily driver, period.

26" slick is overkill for your setup. 24.5's will do more than great.

i would probably go with a gsr trans to start since it will be mainly a street car. or hell i might actually go with a b16 trans. yea, probably the b16 if it were me. thats a tough one.

+1 on B16. IF you want it to be halfway decent on the highway, do a GSR 4th (to make the 4-5 drop less) and LS 5th. ITR uses same ratio as B16 1-3, GSR 4 and GSR 5. If you can shift really fast, 4.785 FD

All depends on powerband / redline / trap speed.
