Auto Tranny not shifting right

My tranny shifts a little hard it doesnt clank or anything but it will like jump up in rpms sometimes. Mainly when it isn't warmed up yet than it is a little better. Any suggestions?

try changing the flid first.. (replace the filter too)

I changed the fluid about about a month ago. The fluid level is fine. I thought it might be a solenoid but I was told the transmission light would come on if the solenoid was bad.

meh, i would still change it, if its low.. then the fluid that was in there had to do twice the work... might as well get fresh stuff in

Yeah I will change the fluid again. And I knew somebody would tell me to get a stick.:evil4: That will come a few years down the road.

honda autos have no changeable filter. drain and fill it, driver for about five minutes letting it go through all the gears (not high rpms) then drain and fill it again. if that doesnt work, its too far gone.

What about a Trans line filter in newer ones. Granite your auto LS trans doesnt have one.
