What transmission fluid is everybody running

Debating between royal purple and the new honda MTF. Anybody notice a difference with either of these.

ive tried it all.....gm or pennzoil syncromesh is what i stick to...

new honda mtf (green label) i would stay away from for use in our old trannies......unless its for a daily driver that you drive like a grandma.

^ I have an 05 tranny so i wouldnt be too worried about it being old

Back when I had a honda, I used 30W and it worked find until I started getting little grinds, so I switched to syncromesh and never had any problems.

syncromesh and 10w30 is what i rock ... ocassionally 5w30 if thats all i have lol

never have any issues with this mixture

Pennzoil Synchromesh or GM Synchromesh here, too. Used to run Honda MTF/Synchromesh blend. If you run regular engine oil, you really need to change it at every oil change for the engine. Honda MTF has sulfur in it to slow the decomposition of the oil. Honda MTF is pretty much engine oil with additives to extend the life.

I use GM Dexron VI, best shit on the market, but then again I do drive a GM with a built tranny.
