Bisi makes great stuff, and the D series transmission is what he won the NHRA title with. He has the world's fastest sohc n/a honda. Its a honda insight with a f22a engine. So I mean, if he used a D series, theres gotta be something special to it.

On the other hand, you could get the lsd h22 tranny...the m2b4...its alot of fun from what I hear.

The H2D kit is good if you already have a D-Series transmission built. I'm pretty sure this is the situation Bisimoto was in when he built the Insight. And D-Series transmissions can be had for muuuuuch cheaper then B-Series ones. So to some people its cost effective. To others, maybe not.

is the d-series trans stronger/better than the h-series or is the h stronger/better. don't mean to hi-jack the thread, im just curious.

I would never mate a D series transmission to an H22, it just doesnt seem right, i guess since theyre cheap and all it would be cool but im not a D fan. H2B's are sweet, id really like to do one, Well, F2B, I want to get an F20B with the H2B kit an an ITR transmission, that would be sweet

here's what they DON'T tell you.... you have to shave down the block to get the axle to fit:

scroll a little less that half-way down.
