more problems

ok so i finally got it all together and i started it up to back it out of the garage today for the first time and i put it in reverse and it jumped back a little and died like the clutch wasnt engaged all the way so i tightend up the clutch cable and its pulling the arm up all the way but its doing the same thing. what do you all think it is?

You sure you alligned the clutch properly? Did you adjust your tps? Do you have a tps? lol

well the clutch was already on the block but i think i checked it with the alignment tool. ya its got a tps and no i didnt adjust it.

if you tighten it and that did not work did you try loosening it some?

Umm, if you dont align the clutch the tranny wont go all the way on.
