my brother needs someone to help him put his LS tranny back together hes been messing with it for a while and cant gget it together right. ive never had one apart so i cant help him. if any of you can help id appreciate it. we live kinda far(about an hour and 15 minutes from st louis) but he would really appreciate some help. i can get some beer or something if anyone wants to come down this sunday or something since we both work and sunday is a free day.

why was it taken apart to begin with?
you have to have alot of things just right or there are going to be problems. take your time with it because it really sucks to get it together and put it in the car and then realize something wasnt done right and then you have to take it all back out and do it all over again.

he was going to swap a part to a different tranny but it wasnt the same so hes putting it back together to use in his crx. i dont what all he messed with i wasnt up there when they were messing with it

no i didnt mess with any of the gears, i was going to swap over the change holder assembly or what ever it is called but it wouldnt work.
