got my accord/prelude a20 clutch disc today. will be getting the lsd tommorrow and then i can get the trans put together and start getting it in the car to make the mounts and then ill just be waiting on my axles to get here.
i made a pilot bushing to fit the cg input shaft and d16 flywheel. its 1 1/4 OD x 3/4 ID. got it from a machine shop. i had to cut it down to length. they dont make bearings in that size. closest i found was 1 3/8 x 3/4. i guess it doesnt have to have a pilot bearing/bushing since i think the d16a1 with cg trans didnt use one. but it was only a few bucks so why not just stick one in there.
got the flywheel and clutch all on the engine. i didnt have a clutch alignment tool to fit all this so i just used the CG mainshaft lol =)
P.S. i cant wait to get my new camera.

got my obx ver. 3 lsd today so i can finally put the trans together.. but i got bored and went ahead and bolted the case up so i could make the mounts. im far from being finished but it wont be much longer, probably by next week it will be up and running. and ill be waiting on my fidanza axles still but might just stick some stock axles in it for the meantime.
the mount looks crazy. like some t-rex mount lol. but its the only way to do it. had to integrate the side torque mount and top mount together since there is only one bolt hole on the top of the trans for the top mount and that bolt hole is a extra oil fill hole but i used it for my mount instead. you can also see the slave cylinder mount on the trans mount. once its all in the car it doesnt look so crazy. it wasnt finished in the pic. i just went today to a friends house to weld it all up. ill be spraying it wrinkle black tommorrow...and then see if i can sell it to hasport lol..
SIDE NOTES:
-only the front lower tranny brace bolts up to the trans. the rear one is off by about 3/4" (im talking about the tranny braces that were only on the 92-95 si d16z6's)
-only one of the holes on the rear T bracket line up on the cg trans..id like to ahve at least 2 bolt up so i will be welding a plate onto the bracket.

GSR shift linkage

the bracket i made for the rear T bracket since only one of the holes lined up with the CG trans.

trans mount/torque mount/slave mount (lol) all welded up and wrinkle coated.

lsd all ready to go...

halfway there...

trans completely finished and ready for the final install.

i have less than a day left in this before its running
but it will be almost 3 weeks before i get my axles so i might just have to goto autozone and get some for the meantime.
