ok this has been pissing me off from day one. when in first gear i am able to wiggle the shifter all the way to fifth gear (bull shit). so in the early stages i was like simple Energy susspension shifter bushings installed those nothing. next was hasport shift linkage still the same thing. so then i replaced the short shifter with a new fidanza one with bearings and all that shit still nothing. did some more research found out it could be the bitch pin replaced that last night and still nothing now i am getting pissed. anybody have some insight.
car = eg.
tranny = type r
i am at a loss (shifter loose)

propbley missing the bitch pin in the shifter linkage .. (at the tranny where the shifter linkage attaches.. there is supposed to be a pin here NOT a nut and bolt)

I remeber Rob's old 4 door was like that, I think he said it had something to do with one of the linkages.

where the linkage connects to the bottom of the shifter...how tight is that bolt there?
is it really that hard to get underneath the car and have someone move the shifter around to see where the play is ??
