Well I was out cruising last night and was on my way home, and I have no clue how I didn't realize this, but my downpipe backed the bolt out from holding it onto the turbo...
Well I'm cruising home and I go to push in the clutch petal and it falls to the floor and doesn't come back up... Odd. Well I proceed to shift into 5th gear and it takes it and I keep driving. Well I go to downshift for whatever reason and the pedal falls to the floor again and I go to downshift and the clutch won't grab.
I sat on the side of the highway for a little while and I popped the hood and got back in and I got the pressure back in the clutch pedal, but the clutch wouldn't grab and all it would do is rev.
So your thoughts, did I fuck up my clutch / pressure plate or do / did I just need to let it cool down and it should be fine again, and I need to take care of my downpipe problem, lol

That is a good question and can't wait to see what others think on it. After sitting and letting it cool did it seem like it wanted to grab again, when you pulled the tranny and put it back on did you check your lines for the slave cylinder there not leaking out fluid and draining off pedal pressure is it? As for anything else if it feels as though the clutch feels fine with pressure and what not then I'm stumped cause I thought you bought a new clutch for the car before you put it all back together.
Hope everything gets figured out.

I didn't get to check shit. lol.
When you have a boost'd car that you've been driving for about an hour, fuck putting your hand anywhere under the hood and it being remotely cool to the touch. lol. It also didn't help that it was dark as hell too, so seeing what it could be wasn't working...
I'm off to go investigate here in a bit.

check your clutch lines for exessive wear and make sure its full, hell might not be a bad idea to bleed it could be an air pocket too

wow that sucks man I hope everything is ok though. I had a clutch problem like this in my coupe. Where the pedal fell tot the floor and wouldnt come back up. Luckily I was at work so I parked it and went to work. When I came ou it was fine. I dont know what did it but it was fine after that.

Well with the help of Chris / DaBeastWithin, I got the car towed home. I let it sit along the highway overnight, and when I got to it today the clutch pedal was stiff as expected and I also threw on the bolts forthe downpipe to the turbo...
I got in the car and I played with the shifter and it would go into gear without resistance. Not good. I started it up again and I put it into all the gears and it would just rev when I hit the accelerator. It wouldn't move at all or want to move... this was also being done while my foot was off the clutch pedal.
More than likely, I believe that I toasted the clutch / pressure plate. So obviously, it's time for me to contact Andy!

I figured thats what it was when I heard what happened this morning. That clutch sounded like it was in bad shape when it went back into the car.
