Lsd?!

is it possible for my 98 gsr to have a limited slip? i was dickin around the other day when it was nice, i did a few burnouts, and it just eats the shit out of both tires. my friends da only has on tire fire. the guy i bought the car from never mentioned if it was cahnged, but i doubt it, is there any usdm gsr's with a lsd?

GSR is an open diff from the factory. You can get both tires spinning with an open diff. Or it may have an aftermarket lsd in it *shrug*

also if you have an ITR tranny, that has an lsd in it.

i don't think any usdm gsr trannys came w/ an lsd, but i'm pretty sure some jdm gsr trannys do.

thats what i thought. its pretty nice to have them both spinning. when i take some turns and hit VTAC, it doesnt really torque steer like some other cars ive rode in. jdm trannies have the lsd option on sir-g integras, and all type r's have a lsd.

easiest way to tell if you have an lsd or not is to take a hard turn and see if the inside tire will spin or if the outside will grip and go.

there is also no e in "holy", shit son, like i said, when i take turns while my car is pulling hard, it sucks me in and really doesnt have any torque steer. it does wheel hop like a mofo though.:worthy:

i know nothing about b's but i thought all of them have equal length driveshafts which cut down drastically on torque steer. also, b's dont have much torque at all which cut down on torque steer.

true............ i was just surprised to have smoke flying past both my mirrors, and get out and look at my marks and see two equal length perdy black strips.
