syncros?

:honda: wheres the best place tro get some? tried gearspeed i think it was and there sold out.. i need a set :honda:

The type of motor would help and the type of tranny... I have an extra set lying around somewhere...

They are the 3rd and 4th gear synchros for a Y21 tranny... Del Sol Vtec or Civic Si DOHC Vtec

he needs them for a z6 tranny.... pretty much any syncro out of a d series will work.

thanx rick ya is for my 92 ex z6 tranny... 3rd is reallt grinding now

well we can get them but it not going to work ....
see i talk to my boss he said that honda synchro (aftermarket) don't work that well with the stock used hub, see the hub wears out so it loses it taper and the new one aren't made for the wear. so 8 out of 10 don't work like they should.

he said that your best bet is to go to the dealer and get new hub and synchros, then you shouldn't have any problems.

but you can do what you want its your car

what kinda price are we talking for a dealer job to replace them? or rather the cost of parts from them then if anyone here has the skill help do it?

parts wise they are super expensive if i remember correctly around $200-300 per syncronyser ring.
