But I do know how to shift and thats wrong for you to say cause I'm not the only person around here or anywhere that has broke these cheapy little things.

Also it's not a science On knowing how to shift
i never said anything directly towards you. i just stated that if you know how to shift, they wont break. sure, there will be some that are constructed better than others and some may have defects which both will contribute to them snapping easier/quicker. i guess i should have said, if you shift properly, they wont break. and theres nothing wrong with what i said. it is what i believe, and everyone here is entitled to have their own beliefs.

The DC sports is just an adapter that goes on the stock shifter, if you are interested in the one for the accord.

Try pspectuning if you are looking for a quality piece for your accord.

i uno does it really make that big of a difference unless ur like a shooting for a lil better track time i think everyday driveing and occasional races prolly not gonna make to big of a difference. And its prolly gonna start wearing out ur syncrhos faster even when u are not intentionally shifting faster just because the throws are shorter u will be shifting faster

this is one of my favorite bits of misinformation on the web. The shifter itself has NOTHING to do with the idiot behind the shifter, smashing the shifter into the next gear without properly disengaing/reengaging the clutch between shifts. This is a myth and has nothing to do with synco wear or tranny abuse. Its the over agressive driver thinking that they need to king kong man handle the shifter just to get into the next gear.

i personally have broken 2 shifters, one a neuspeed one and a cheap ebay one, both of these come from that i personally shift hard and fast when running my car hard + the combination of that and my 440ounce Skunk2 shift knob. Usally i break the shifter at the top where the threads end or at the first bend of a duel bend shifter. after i broke my secong one i switched to hurst single bend shifter with a thrust shift knob and never had another issue in the crx with breakage.

I am currently using the hurst shifter and the skunk2 knob again in the red hatch but i havent had any issues with it as of late.

just my .45cents
