I thought this would be the best place to post this blog.
What is a good short throw shifter/adapter for my 94 accord? There are quite a few different ones on Ebay.

nothing billet aluminum cause they snap easly, find a nice forged steel one with new bushings.

B&M prolly makes one or Mackin, usually they come with the bushings.

aaaaagh. ive never heard that they snap, but that sucks. i was digging through some boxes of parts i got when i bought my car, found an APC billet short shifter and put it on about two weeks ago. it feels WAAAAAAY better than stock, but i hope to god it doesnt snap on me, ill be mad.

if you know how to shift, they wont break. ive been using the same one for almost three years and have had no problems with it. oh.. just to let you know, it was an ebay cheapy aluminum one.

well I might be the king of snaping them then, I snapped a fidanza, megan racing, and another cheapy, bent 2 stocker steel ones, and modifyed a stocker were I keep bending them and havent had a problem since.

I guess when I shift I like to grab more gear then I think it will.

thats a relief. for a "cheapie" ive never felt a shifter that was as tight, and crisp as this one. i did have to "custom" make a spacer so the shift linkage would bolt up right. it should last though.

if you know how to shift? are you trying to say I can't shift or something, honestly I don't know how hard I shift when racing cause the mind sorta goes blank. But I do know how to shift and thats wrong for you to say cause I'm not the only person around here or anywhere that has broke these cheapy little things.

Also it's not a science On knowing how to shift
