Double check your timing and make sure the sparkplug wires are in the correct firing order.

Why are you asking that? Did you double check the timing and the sparkplug wires like I suggested? Did you hand turn the motor and check that the marks on the cam gears are lining up and that the belt is staying tight, not skipping a tooth etc?

I ask that because the belt originally broke while i was driving. and ive rotated and all the timing marks add up and the belt is tight.

I wouldn't think so on the alternator thing.

But the last time my car was running, it was probably running on 8-9 volts and sounded like it was heavily cammed. Turned out my alt. power wire wasn't hooked up into the fusebox. Its as easy as checking 12v at the fusebox to see if the alternator is causing anything.

Not sure under what circumstances your timing belt broke under but there's the chance you bent some valves. I don't know what tools you have access to, but maybe do a leakdown test to see if that's the case.

Here is a DIY leakdown test

When you started the car up did you get a cel?

And you checked the sp wire order right? Iirc it goes

32
41

Because that will make your car run like a lawnmower lol
