car broke down

i was driving my ej1 and all of a sudden it stopped.letting me give it gas. i cam.hear the fuel lump kicking on. i tapped the injectors but that didnt help. ifs my only csr so please help.

hear a pop before it died? sounds like you snapped a timing mechanism.

i didnt hear anything itbjusr atopped giving gas but ive had issues with it not getting gss sometimes but it never stopped running more or less just clogged injectors how hars is it to fix a timing mechanism :/

Fuel pump or filter could be clogged.

Wow, thats hard to read.....

I am not sure what you mean by "it stopped.letting me give it gas." Will the petal no longer go down, or if you push the petal does it not go anywhere? Also are you able to start it at all?

Are there any CEL's? Have you looked at anything?

It could be... a lot.. of things.

I'd do some routine matence like replacing the fuel filter. It sounds like it'd bog when you hit the gas from it not getting fuel. Also check the sock in the tank

yeah i meant it wasnt getting gas when i was pressing the pedal in and, no i cant start it. its not turning over all the way.

it was like 2 am i only had my headlamp which isnt thay bright sp i could see much and as for cels i dont know the light was on but all the other lights were on also. im going to check.today though and try to get it towed

yoi guys know everyone on here doesnt know as much as some people on here. and when i press the gas pedal in and i dont accelerate i can just assume its not getting gas. and at 2am on the side of the highway with no tools i csnt really check for all this shit. ill be going to update with cels and whay not later
