turbo vitera d16zc problems *please help*

Post by 91blkrex »

I ordered 75mm pistons and 75mm Hastings rings I don't have a catch can and I have a breather filter on the vc right now it was brand new but it's a bit dirty now the piston to wall clearence I don't have measurements but when all the pistons went in everything was nice and snug no sloppiness what so ever I just don't know what to do with this thing anymore u think a block guard would cause ur motor to run hotter if it doesn't have the proper coolant flow?

No it was tapped in and the block was honed and decked with the guard installed I remember when I layed the head gasket flush with the block most of the coolant ports on the block guard were covered up by the headgasket that's why I'm thinking it might be the problem

most people dont have good luck with the block guards. since it wasnt secured, it could of moved and blocked the coolant passages even more. if you do take it out the cylinders could distort a little bit.
