turbo vitera d16zc problems *please help*

alright well first things first the motor has been rebuilt in the past 1500 miles its a Sohc ZC non-vtec its got micropolished crank, acl race bearings, eagle rods, vitera pistons, hasting 75mm rings, arp headstuds, block guard, full bisimoto pro level head, stock cam on a t3t4 turbo with 10 psi external wastegate. the car is tuned on hondata s300 v1 and its got a gm 3 bar map on rc 550cc injectors

Okay so this car has been a 3 year long project last month i finally got enough money to afford hondata s300 and to get the car tuned, i took the car up to adrenalin to get it tuned, i had people tell me not too but i did because the car isnt legal and there literally 3 miles up the road. first problem they ran into was the car getting too hot, chuck told me the car at operating temp was hitting 220-230 degrees when running so everytime he strapped it to the dyno he couldnt get any pulls out of it in fear of it cracking a sleeve so he drove it around the block to see how it would run. the car runs really sluggish lower rpm and just runs like doodoo. so he got the car back up in the air after driving it around turns out the Cat converter was clogged. so they removed that and welded a straight pipe in and removed the thermostat, sothe problem would be fixed right?? well i get it back today and it runs like shit i can tell the motors really hot just by touching it but the temp guage never goes above normal, as soon as the car sees boost the afrs go from 10.5 to 14.8 in half a second. i just need someones help with this car its seriously driving me nuts i just droped about $1000 bucks and thr car doesnt even run right. chuck told me he thinks the motor wasnt built right, well i built the motor from the ground up and did everything that i was supposed to do, at idle vac is at 14, he said it should have more vaccume than that. i did a comp test before i took it up there the test came back #1 119 #2 121 #3 120 #4 122 he told me that that compression ratio is wayy to low and that it should be in the 150-170s for that motor and that theres something internally wrong with the motor.... i just dont even know anymore.. the car runs avout the same as it did when i brought it up there with stock injectors and factory obd0 ecu someones please let me know what u think im about at whits end with this car

Did you do the compression test warm or cold?
Is your mechanical timing right?
Are your valves lashed correctly?
Do you have any CEL's?

I did the test cold they told me the timing was dead on but they took my adjustable cam Gear off and put the factory one on there soo.. I don't have any cel into the Ecu goes into limp cause the car starts getting hot but my temp guage never moves I'm thinking maybe block guard but it could be the single core eg radiator?

Mechanical timing or ignition timing?

Who installed the block guard? Those are pretty worthless, imo.

Most people recommend doing the compression test while the engine is warm, and all the parts are expanded. Did you hold the throttle open? The numbers might be slightly low but maybe not too bad.

Yeah it was done wot and that was
Exhanical timing but the disi is clocked towards the firewall so obviously it's advanced I put the block guard in and buttons machine shop decked the block to match the guard main problem is its getting too hot I remember matching the head gasket with the block and the gasket itself covered up most of the coolant ports on the guard could this be the main source? I should I start by putting a dual core radiator in? I don't feel like ripping through this motor again.,

No. That radiator should be fine. I'd check for air in your coolant first, then coolant in your cylinders.

U think my compression is too low?? I dont think it is cause its got vitera pistons but chuck said it should have like 150-160 but idk...

Yeah, I think it's a bit low if you did it warm.

I just did lt warm and #1 was 120 #2 was 123 #3 was 125 and #4 was 124, not much of a difference. I just checked ignition timing with the timing light and it was dead on I'm literally about to start ripping the head off to get that block guard out Im pretty positive it's preventing proper coolant flow through the engine and its just boiling the antifreeze but idk, I'm not 100% sure it's going to fix it but all I can do is try

thats pretty low compression for a vitara build. did you use standard 75mm pistons? whats your piston to wall clearance?

are you using the factory pvc setup or do you have a catch can setup? when the car is idling is there any excess blow by coming out the valve cover breather port?
