Distributor Issues

So I was driving on the highway and my car just shut off, like it went from like 4000 rpms to 0 in 5 seconds.. Currently im waiting on a tow but does anyone have a quick solution to fix the issue??

No i checked all the wires... they are snug..

check for spark, might be a bad coil or ignitor.

Why do you figure it's the distributor? It could be a number of different things besides the distributor.

I actually just foundout that it's my timing belt and cylinder head... So this is my new task.
